About us

Sidharth Pagad and Camila Chicon are community leaders and therapeutic music and dance facilitators, respectively. Sidharth lives in Waiuku and Camila in Waiheke Island, where they work locally as itinerant teachers teaching community music and dance in Auckland area. With many years of experience, both have a clear vision and passion about getting as many people to feel the joy of living by making music and dancing with others. In terms of experience with West African rhythms, they have both been practicing this style for more than a decade and few years ago they have travelled together to Ghana on a drumming and dancing tour to deepen their knowledge and understanding of this art form. As creators and leaders of their well-known performance groups "Kra Ko To Kra" and "Afriky", they have decided to pool their energy, passion and vision to organize and facilitate workshops, events, shows and retreats throughout New Zealand.
